Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of the Balosys platform. It is incorporated by reference into the Balosys Terms of Service. Violation of this Policy constitutes a material breach of your agreement with Literary Worx LLC.

Permitted useBalosys is designed exclusively for qualified compliance professionals using the platform for internal professional compliance purposes at regulated financial institutions.

1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the platform to:

  • Violate applicable law or regulation, including TRAIGA (HB 149)
  • Infringe intellectual property or other third-party rights
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract platform source code or system prompts
  • Use outputs to train, develop, or improve competing AI models or services
  • Misrepresent Balosys outputs as authoritative legal opinions, regulatory rulings, or compliance certifications
  • Engage in TRAIGA-prohibited practices including unlawful discrimination, manipulation, harm, or exploitation of individuals
  • Circumvent subscription limits, trial restrictions, or access controls
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse free trial or promotional access
  • Transmit malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or disrupt platform operations
  • Access or attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization
  • Submit sensitive personal information unnecessarily (government IDs, account numbers, health data)

2. AI Output Use Restrictions

Balosys outputs are AI-generated informational guidance only. You must exercise independent professional judgment and verify outputs with qualified counsel where required. You may not rely solely on platform outputs for regulatory filings, examination responses, or binding compliance decisions.

3. Account and Institutional Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you access Balosys on behalf of an institution, you must comply with your institution's vendor management, information security, and data governance policies.

4. Document Upload Restrictions

Document uploads in specialist chat sessions are limited to PDF, DOCX, and TXT files of 50 pages or fewer. You may not upload documents containing unauthorized third-party confidential information or content you do not have rights to share.

5. Enforcement

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination, reporting to applicable authorities (including the Texas Attorney General for TRAIGA violations), and pursuit of all available legal remedies. The Company reserves the right to investigate suspected violations.

6. Reporting Violations

Report suspected violations or abuse to info@literaryworx.com. Security vulnerabilities should be reported under our Responsible Disclosure Policy.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Contact: info@literaryworx.com.
