Literary Worx LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of Balosys users. This Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, your rights, and our compliance with TRAIGA and CCPA/CPRA. By using Balosys, you agree to the practices described herein.
1. Who We Are
Literary Worx LLC is a Texas veteran-owned LLC (File No. 806594602) and operator of Balosys, an AI-powered SaaS compliance intelligence platform for compliance professionals at community banks, credit unions, fintechs, and other regulated financial institutions.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Name and professional title
- Business email and phone number (required for verification and trial abuse prevention)
- Employer name, institution type, and job function
- Subscription tier and billing information (processed by payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)
2.2 Platform Usage Data
- Queries submitted to AI compliance specialists
- Specialist selections, consultation history, and feature usage
- IP address, device type, browser, and operating system
- Log data, error reports, and performance metrics
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, or health information. Users should not submit such information in platform queries.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information for marketing purposes. Balosys is ad-free.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the platform
- Verify identity and prevent free trial abuse
- Process subscriptions and manage accounts
- Provide customer support and transactional communications
- Monitor for security, fraud, and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations including TRAIGA and CCPA
- Enforce Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
We do not use session query content to train AI models beyond generating your requested response in the current session.
5. Automated Decision-Making Technology (ADMT)
Balosys uses automated processing to analyze compliance queries and generate responses through 19 specialized AI advisors. California residents may contact info@literaryworx.com regarding ADMT processing. All outputs are labeled AI-generated and subject to the AI Platform Disclaimer in our Terms of Service.
6. TRAIGA Compliance and AI Governance
The platform is designed in compliance with TRAIGA (HB 149). The Company maintains documentation of AI system design, risk assessment, testing protocols, NIST AI RMF alignment, and incident response procedures.

8. Security

9. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements). California residents have CCPA rights including right to know, delete, correct, and non-discrimination. Submit requests to info@literaryworx.com with subject line “CCPA Request.”
10. Children's Privacy
Balosys is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
